Myung-Whun Chung, in the dual role of conductor and soloist at the piano, returns to lead the Orchestra of the Teatro La Fenice in the double concert scheduled at the Malibran Theater as part of the 2021-2022 Symphonic Season. The Korean master will perform two pieces of great importance and of very different emotional hue: the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra n. 23 in A Major KV 488 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - for which he will be engaged in the direction of the score and in the interpretation of the solo part - and Symphony no. 3 in E Flat Major Op. 55 Heroic by Ludwig van Beethoven. The concert lasts 1 hour and 50 minutes (first part 35 ', interval 20, second part 55'). The concert on Friday 18 March 2022 will be preceded by a free admission meeting with the musicologist Roberto Mori, who will illustrate the Myung-Whun Chung musical program from 19.20 to 19.40.
