The exhibition 'in light' Photographs by Alessandra Chemollo in the Gypsotheca di Possagno curated by Maddalena Scimemi for the museum house of the Fondazione Querini Stampalia and promoted together with Museo Gypsotheca Antonio Canova in collaboration with Bugno Art Gallery on the bicentenary of Canova's death (1822 - 2022) stars a great artist, Antonio Canova, a great architect, Carlo Scarpa and a passionate photographer. About fifty shots on display come from the reportage that Alessandra Chemollo made in Possagno in the Summer of 2016 and destined for the publication of Carlo Scarpa. The Gipsoteca Canoviana di Possagno (Mondadori Electa, 2016) reveal a link that starts from afar, the museum house of the Querini Stampalia Foundation in fact houses a clay sketch by Antonio Canova, made for a statue of Letizia Ramolino Bonaparte and donated in 1857 by the stepbrother of the artist, Giovanni Battista Sartori, to the very founder, Count Giovanni Querini.
