Heat – Create the Environment you are Willing to Live in

Ernesto Morales, Clouds II, 2018

Art & Communication, a non-profit association supporting art, on the occasion of the 58th Venice Biennale, presents the Collateral Event Heat - Create the environment you are willing to live in, created by the curators Sveva Manfredi Zavaglia, Maria Abramenko and Ekaterina Luki to raise public awareness of the broad theme of "global warming" and its harmful effects on the environment around us. In a climate of general uncertainty, the creative process of art in relation to the environment can favor a first step towards change, transforming the wounds of the Earth into energy and light. The six internationally renowned artists invited to participate at the exhibition - Artem Mirolevich (New York), Ernesto Morales (Turin), Veronica Smirnoff (London), Andrea Pacanowski (Rome), Lina Condes (Miami) and Edoardo Dionea Cicconi (Palermo) - proposing site-specific works related to environmental protection, exhibited in  bi-monthly "bi-Solo" exhibitions that invite the public to dwell on the relationship between man and the environment in order to sensitize the collective conscience for a sustainable future and rediscover that ancient balance which, in many cases, today it seems to be already heavily compromised.
